Permanent Full Time Position

Salary Range: $73,248 - $79,310 (Plus Super)

About the role

There is currently an opportunity for an ASO4 Payroll Officer to join our busy payroll team here at Calvary Public Hospital, Bruce ACT. This is an industrious and fast-paced role that will offer challenges, however, you will operate in a supportive environment which will help your payroll skills grow!

Duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Leave amendments and audits
  • Commencements, promotions and extensions
  • Salary and allowance processing
  • Birth Leave and long service leave
  • Replying to queries from internal staff, other government agencies, and former staff
  • Calculating of complex payroll processes

What you bring

Work in accordance with the mission and vision of Calvary and actively participate in developing a culture that promotes Calvary’s values of healing, hospitality, stewardship and respect. The successful candidate will have demonstrated previous payroll processing experience. In addition you will have:

  • An excellent attitude and work well within a team
  • Outstanding stakeholder engagement and the capacity to professionally manage enquiries received from staff or other agencies
  • Previous payroll processing experience within a large organisation
  • Experience with Chris21
  • Experience with Kronos Timekeeper
  • Demonstrated communication skills both oral and written
  • Excellent phone manner
