Credit Manager (Credit Risk) - Consumer

Multiple opportunities in Consumer Credit Risk across the Westpac Group (various locations)

• Provide high-quality credit decisions
• Opportunities across multiple brands – Westpac & St George Group
• Roles can be based in Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney

How will I help?

Reporting to the National Manager, Credit (Credit Risk), you will provide high-quality credit decisions on secured or unsecured product applications, supporting the bank in achieving the desired risk and reward balance of the portfolio.

You will maintain credit standards and business service quality by ensuring all credit decisions are soundly based, involve appropriate oversight and reflect the organisation's current underwriting standards, policies and risk appetite for the segment. You will act as an escalation point for decisions outside CAL, provide coaching and feedback to bankers/frontline staff and work to develop and maintain effective partnerships with 1st party Lenders and 3rd party Brokers.
