Executive Manager Compliance, Auto Finance

How will I help?

The Executive Manager will be responsible for engaging with senior business leaders and first line risk and compliance as an effective business partner to and provide advice, insight, and oversight to help drive a best Practice approach to Compliance Management. You will engage and liaise with leaders within Auto Finance to engender a culture of Compliance which enables the Compliance Management Framework and balances the risk/reward position.

You will lead the implementation of an effective compliance & conduct framework and operating model within Auto Finance with a focus on Compliance Framework, Major Projects, Compliance Reporting and Transformation. Supporting the CCO, you will support the business to resolve critical compliance business issues and develop appropriate solutions while adopting a continuous improvement approach in looking for ways to do things better to enhance overall efficiency and support to the business.

The Executive Manager will forge effective relationships relating to specific Auto Finance matters with regard to regulatory matters from ASIC and APRA and liaise with industry bodies to remain abreast of emerging issues and trends to determine appropriate group policy position.

A strong candidate will bring experience across Compliance, Risk or legal function or team. You will be experienced in working with complexity and ambiguity and managing through complex organisation and managing divergent drivers and objectives to produce optimal overall Group outcomes. You will hold stakeholder management skills and be highly proficient with both your verbal and written communication. You will be asked to challenge and hold your own amongst some key people across the organisation and provide your thought leadership on several matters.
