JOB DESCRIPTION

To be successful in this position, you will need to demonstrate:

* Experience working within legislative and regulatory regimes, applying principles of procedural fairness and quality measures to decision making operations within a Government, compliance or law enforcement setting.
* Exceptional conceptual, analytical and systematic thinking skills, with demonstrated ability to interpret and apply relevant legislation, policy, project management skills and relevant standards.
* High level policy and service design analysis skills, such as the ability to align departmental and organisational objectives with developing practical guidelines and operational documents.
* Strong verbal communication skills including excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate information, complex concepts and negotiate with tact and build meaningful relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders at all levels.
* Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to prepare a range of complex materials (including business rules, matrices, reports, briefings, policies, strategic frameworks and plans) in a clear and concise manner.

Salary package (Band 6.1) in the range of $120,692 - $141,102 per annum (plus 9.5% super), will be negotiated with the successful candidate, depending on skills and experience.
