Our client is a household name in Australia, and they are currently looking to expand their team of enthusiastic, friendly, dynamic individuals in their Townsville Contact Centre. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is ready to take the next step in their Customer Service career.

As a Customer Service Consultant you will play an important role by providing excellent service support to customers with the aim of providing solutions that will make their services and experience better. Motivated, positive and enthusiastic by nature, you will have demonstrated experience working in a busy, multi-tasking environment providing an outstanding level of customer service.
What you’ll be doing

  • delivering an exceptional experience and enjoy interacting with customers to identify their needs;
  • creating a simple and brilliant customer experience, offering solutions that best meet the customers’ needs; you’re not afraid to get in and do some troubleshooting on basic technical issues;
  • building strong relationships and working to understanding the customer’s needs; you will confidently coach customers through technical issues and be able to explain how to use online self-help tools and applications;
  • working in an agile and ever-changing work environment with constant support and leadership guidance.

Who we’re looking for:

  • People who have Inbound, Outbound Sales or Customer Service experience in a large-scale organisation;
  • Experience working in a contact centre or retail store;
  • Proven experience in solving problems;
  • The ability to build customer relationships quickly;
  • Can learn and use new systems rapidly;
  • Excellent listening skills along with a friendly personality and a genuine desire to help people; and
  • The flexibility to work across a rotating roster on a 24 x 7 basis and to cover shifts that are required with reasonable notice.

As a strong communicator, you’ll feel comfortable responding to sales and service enquiries relating to a range of mobile products and services – and don’t worry, full training and ongoing support will be provided!
