JOB DESCRIPTION

Working with, and managing, a high-performing team, you will be a key contact point between DELWP and major infrastructure proponents and has responsibility for guiding projects through the planning, impact assessment and other approval requirements as well as support legislative and non-legislative improvements to planning processes.
Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications

* Demonstrated experience working on infrastructure planning and approvals processes, high-level stakeholder engagement and management of complex projects in the public or private sectors is required.
* High-level/sophisticated technical knowledge or industry experience of the Victorian planning system is required.
* Proven leadership skills, including demonstrated capacity to provide policy advice, direction and information in a complex environment and set strategic direction.
* Demonstrated experience in the delivery of complex projects, managing project teams and budgets in the public or private sectors is required.
* Experience in the successful development and delivery of all aspects of major complex business reform programs, particularly in a government context, is desirable.
* A relevant tertiary qualification in Law, Planning, Social Sciences, Economics or a related field is highly desirable.

This is a fixed term position available until 30 December 2023.
