THE OPPORTUNITY

With multiple project wins and many more tenders to be imminently awarded, it is going to be an extremely busy 2021 for this outfit!

A rare and unique opening for the right candidate to oversee multiple future Sydney projects with a successful management team and full-time staff at your disposal.

You will operate how you want to, build the team around you, spin many plates, build meaningful relationships and represent the company brand as a senior figure in the business.

THE ROLE

  • Manage and balance multiple projects simultaneously
  • Program and schedule construction works
  • Procurement of materials and resources
  • Coordinate construction teams
  • Subcontractors engagement and management
  • Oversee and delegate Supervisors
  • Enforce a positive OH&S culture
  • Liaise with and consult high-profile clients
  • Report into a General Manager and Company Director
  • Budgeting and financial forecasting
  • Staffing and recruitment
  • Training and developing employees

BACKGROUND

  • 2-3 years minimum as a Project Manager
  • Structural site experience, i.e. formwork, precast, concrete, retaining walls
  • Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction OR Quantity Surveying
  • Relevant qualification in Project Management (preferred)
  • Driving license
