Our Electrical division currently have two exciting opportunities for those looking to start a career in Electrical & Communications - 1st year Apprenticeships to commence early 2021.

Based in Dudley Park SA, this is a great opportunity to start your electrical / data communications career in a great team environment. Projects that you will work on will be for a range of business and corporate clients across Australia in commercial and industrial sectors including retail, education, construction and manufacturing.

Your duties will include:

  • Assist with electrical and cabling installations, reading drawings / interpretation, specifications
  • Assist with programming, testing and commissioning of various electrical and cabling systems across commercial building sites and premises
  • Follow relevant codes and industry standards which govern electrical installation and maintenance
  • Attend call outs
  • Demonstrate aptitude with electrical and mechanical tools
  • Understand written information and instructions and correspond clearly and concisely
  • Understand inventory stock components used
  • Administrative tasks
  • Other duties as directed

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Year 12 (preferred)
  • Some prior work experience, preferably in a trade preferred
  • An interest in a career in electrical / data communications
  • Completed Pre-Apprenticeship Electro-technology preferred
  • Drivers licence if possible
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • The ability to work as part of a team
