Use your extensive Quality Assurance experience, responsible for overall quality assurance, compliance and delivery to ensure a positive accreditation in March 2021. - Must have experience auditing against the NDIS standards
Our client is a NFP community based organisation that has been supporting the Deaf and Hard of Hearing for almost 100 years. Its purpose is to foster a community of communication without limits, and it provides services for all members of the community through four different arms:
- Auslan Interpreting and Deaf Interpreting
- Community Services
- NDIS support and assistance
- Auslan and training resources
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Achieve successful accreditation against National Standards
- Manage the successful navigation of service delivery audits, including the National Quality and Safeguarding Audit
- Implement and maintain a Clinical Governance Framework
- Managing high levels of clinical governance compliance and delivery
- Overall quality assurance and continuous improvement, including staff training
- Ensuring the organisation effectively manages its risks and opportunities
- Safely and sustainably implementing new, and improving existing, services that meet the needs of the community and support the achievement of our purpose
- Maintaining strong corporate governance and policy management practices across the organisation
- Conduct all activities in compliance with relevant legislation, including EEO and OHS
- Demonstrated experience in quality, risk, compliance or audit and accreditation processes- MUST HAVE experience auditing against the NDIS standards
- Understanding of the regulatory and compliance frameworks and standards
- High level communication skills, written and verbal
- Attention to detail and time management skills
- Demonstrated leadership and relationship building skills, including problem solving and the ability to provide accurate advice to Management
- Significant and demonstrated experience in stakeholder management and relationship building
- Excellent computer skills including MS Office
- Valid Police Clearance and Working with Children Check
