• Central Perth location
• 6 month contract, immediate start
• $47.10 - $52.50 per hour, depending on experience

NB: Some overtime & weekend work will be required

Desirable:

• Possession of Occupational Health and Safety qualification and experience in leading the implementation of occupational safety and health requirements.
• Demonstrated experience in the rail industry or in construction site safety management.
• Possession of an auditing and investigation qualification or certificate and significant auditing and investigation experience.
• OSH statistical reporting experience
• Incident management and investigation experience
• Rail knowledge and/or experience

Core Duties & Responsibilities:

• Attend risk workshops
• Conduct site inspections on contractors and designated areas
• Provide reports to management on the inspections, raise and assign corrective actions
• Participate in investigations
• Provide guidance to and support to branches within the Network & Infrastructure Division
• Provide subject matter expert advice in relation to OSH Safety
• Review and provide feedback on submitted SMP’s for compliance
• Review SWMS and JSAs
• Write and review procedures
• Develop training packages
• Provide support to OSH Superintendent as required

NB: A Cat 3 Medical assessment will be required prior to commencement
