As an equal opportunity employer that promotes a diverse and safe workplace environment, one of the country's leading and preferred Defence partners, Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) is looking for someone to support the Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) Ground Support Segment capability based at RAAF Base Williamtown.

This role will work across all elements of the Ground Support Segments and associated teams who support the development laboratories, mission crew training devices and pilot training simulators.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Issuing of purchase requests for all materials, external services and subcontractors aligned with project schedule requirements.
  • Engaging effectively with project managers, team leads, buyers, and engineers to ensure all projects milestones are supported and achieved.
  • Performs various asset administration duties related to the organization's hardware, software, and service contracts.
  • Administers systems for tracking asset life cycles, managing inventory and maintaining information on licenses and service level agreements
  • Ensures compliance with purchasing procedures and standards. Tracks quality throughout product/contract lifetimes.

To be successful you will have:

  • Excellent communication skills that enable the applicant to influence outcomes in a group environment.
  • Attention to detail and a passion for process improvement.
  • Ability to work with large amounts of information within a fast moving environment.
  • An interest in Production Planning and/or Project Management.
  • Experience within an Aerospace or Defence environment highly regarded.
