Our international Tier 1 client specialises within the concreting, quarrying and precast sectors of the market. They are building civil precast concrete products such as retaining walls, sound barriers, pipes and bridge beams for Queensland Major Projects.

With a year worth of work on their books. Their precast yard in Townsville are looking for Forklift Drivers/Labourers and Welders to start ASAP. It is a full time, ongoing, casual role with a potential to go permanent. Attractive pay rates vary on role & experience.

Roles

Forklift Driver/ Labourer

• Moving concrete products around the precast yard
• General labouring on site
• Must have forklift licence & white card
• Civil/Construction or relative experience required

Reo Welders

• Tac welding reinforcing steel cages & installing into the mould
• Experience MIG/ARC welding required
• Unticketed will be considered based on experience

Successful Candidates

• Experience working in the construction (or relevant) industry
• Able to pass a pre employment drug and alcohol test
• Able to pass a full medical
• Reliable with a positive attitude and hard work ethic

• Own a car and have a valid licence

• Safety mindset, reporting any potential OH&S concerns
