  • Building & construction
  • Maintenance & service
  • Remediation & retrofit projects
  • New high-rise, units, industrial, apartments, dwellings & much more

POSITION

This role is playing an important role in this company which is on their Testing & Service team for general fire within standards around AS1851 which is carrying out checks on existing sites. You will be covering all and any requirements across NSW for testing, installs and rectification.

  • Conducting routine tests and service work on fire systems & equipment
  • Carrying out monthly, quarterly & annual tests
  • Getting involved in both Wet & Dry fire work
  • Checking portables including extinguishers, reels, blankets, doors & more
  • Doing tests on fire panels, alarm systems, sprinklers & pumps
  • Liaising with clientele & supporting other team members
  • Working on a variety of sites; buildings, high rise, strata, office blocks, industrial, warehousing and more

EXPERIENCE NEEDED

To be applicable for this role we are looking for candidates that have experience in the fire industry within the testing field. Ideally you have experience in both Dry fire for electrical relating to panels, alarms and more & Wet fire around water and flow pumps and sprinklers.

Ideally you have experience in doing annual testing as well as monthly testing work.

  • Experience in Testing or being a Tester for fire systems
  • Ability to carry out comprehensive checks on equipment and systems
  • Strong practical skills on the tools
  • Knowledge of fire industry standards
  • Good attention to detail
  • Exposure to wet & dry fire
  • Exposure to annual and monthly system tests
