Superintendent - Shutdown Coordinator

Our Engineering Construction division at Monadelphous provides large scale, multidisciplinary project management and construction services through specialised business units. From concept and completion through to hand over, we provide services and solutions for major construction projects in all phases of development.

The role of Superintendent - Shutdown Coordinator will see you working a 21:7 FIFO roster and responsible for the successful execution of all delegated shutdown works on one of our premier iron ore construction projects. ensuring that work is completed safely, on schedule, to required client specifications and within budget.

What you will bring

  • Mechanical or Electrical trade qualification with previous experience coordinating shutdowns within the mining industry
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and organise with the capability to work effectively
  • Experience in delivering safe and reliable maintenance and shutdown solutions
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to deliver a message effectively
  • Commitment to the safety, well-being and future development of your team
  • Self- starter with an ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Sound computer skills, specifically with regard to Microsoft Excel and Project
  • Valid Australian Driver's Licence
  • Proof of right to work in Australia
