We are seeking an experienced and proactive Learning and Development Advisor to join our team on a fulltime basis. Reporting to the L&D Lead, you will be a highly organised individual who will thrive working under pressure and delivering to deadlines, whilst maintaining a high standard of service and attention to detail.

Key accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

  • The facilitation and delivery of technical, leadership and soft skills programs within a corporate environment
  • Ongoing development and maintenance of team skills matrix, training plans and training content/material
  • Transitioning learning programs from face-to-face to an online learning environment
  • Provide workplace coaching to supervisory and managerial positions
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships across all levels, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Responsible for developing and implementing learning and development frameworks and initiatives to support the overall L&D Strategy of the group
  • Co-ordinate grant funding opportunities

To be considered for this position you must possess the following:

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline such as Training and Development or Human Resources
  • Cert IV in Training and Assessment
  • Solid experience in the facilitation and delivery of technical, leadership and soft skills programs within a corporate environment
  • Working knowledge of psychometrics and techniques for assessment/development
  • Proven track record in creating/curating eLearning content
  • Previous experience in transitioning learning programs from face-to-face to an online learning environment
  • Have a keen interest and experience in new technologies and methodologies in workplace learning such as blended learning technology and digital learning
  • Have experience in identifying grant funding opportunities and co-ordinating the grant application process and monitoring grant compliance
  • Proven understanding of adult learning principles
  • Strong attention to detail and quality focused
  • Be proactive and a driven self-starter, with a hands-on approach and willingness to get involved and work in a team
  • Be prepared to travel as required for training
  • Desirable to have previous experience working within Civil and Mining Industry
