Kimberley Outback Wilderness Adventures
Located in one of the most remote regions of Western Australia, our exclusive eco lodges offer fully escorted 4WD wilderness adventures or a special somewhere to stay during own self-drive holiday. With three lodges strategically positioned, the role of the Lodge Maintenance Manager is to ensure our luxury lodges continue to provide an unwavering standard to exceptional customer service that is personalised, intimate and welcoming. The lodges combine glamour and camping (glamping) allowing guests to experience five star treatment while they sleep under a million stars. Running like a mini hotel the lodges offer a fitted bathroom in each glamp, three-course fine dining dinners each night, breakfast buffet, laundry service and an outback stocked bar.
The role
Our Maintenance Manager role is required to plan and implement repairs and maintenance, and replacement of lodge equipment within cost centre budgets, to ensure KWA Wilderness Lodges operate effectively and efficiently at all times. Ensure the Lodge presentation and operation meets required customer service standards according to the relevant brochures and brand promises and is in line with operational and occupational health and safety standards.
This position will interact with guests at our lodges from time to time and therefore your personal presentation and customer service skills are equally as important as your technical skills.
Key Requirements:
- Trade qualification and general mechanical knowledge is desirable
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage remote operations and budgets
- Ability to analyse and evaluate maintenance issues and coordinate an effective response
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders and other cultures and languages
- Demonstrated leadership and management skills
- Destination knowledge across all KWA destinations
