About the role:

We currently have a permanent opportunity for a highly motivated Water Industry Operator to join our Service Delivery team based in Bunbury.

The successful candidate will be required to assist in the operation and maintenance of both water and wastewater treatment infrastructure or as required in the South West Region.

What the role will involve:

  • Participate in safe job planning, team meetings and workplace inspections.
  • Ensuring that all work is undertaken with safety as the first priority in the provision of a work environment where no injury is considered acceptable, and all activities are undertaken without compromising health and safety.
  • Operate, maintain, monitor and repair water and wastewater assets, operational sites and public facilities as required.
  • Participate in standby, overtime and call out rosters as required.
  • A willingness to participate in training and developmental program

Key skills and experience:

  • Certificate III National Water Package or willingness to work towards
  • Willingness to work towards Certificate IV in Front Line Management
  • Western Australian “C” Class Drivers Licence
  • Experience in water and wastewater treatment process systems
  • Ability to work autonomously both during normal and after hours
