    About the role: 

    We have a unique opportunity to join the team as a People & Performance Partner - WA. Working predominately on site at stores, the National Head Office is based in Perth on St Georges Terrace.

    The role is slightly left of a 'HR generalist' role. The People & Performance Partners key objectives are aligned to the overall business strategy. The role is primarily about enabling strong business performance through building people capability. Through effective business partnering with the State Operations team, the P&P Partners are to ensure delivery of consistent, measured and valuable business growth solutions.

    Reporting to the Manager, People & Performance this position will keep you challenged and will see you involved in all aspects of People & Culture such as Recruitment and Selection, Performance Management, Employment Relations, Training & Development and OHS/Workers Compensation. The role is highly autonomous.

    • Managing the day to day People & Culture operational priorities and work with the State Operational team to achieve agreed business KPIs and objectives 
    • Coaching & developing leaders on leadership and talent management skills.
    • Recruiting, attracting and retaining talent.
    • Contributing to People & Culture projects ensuring successful implementation and delivery on measurable results.
    • Being a Change Champion! You will be a key enabler of change throughout the store network and use your energy and enthusiasm to project positive change around all related business initiatives.
    • Delivering high quality training and coaching to our people ensuring they have the tools and knowledge to succeed in their role.

    To succeed within in the role you're going to need:

    • At least 5 years experience at a HR generalist / advisory level.
    • Experience as a stand alone P&C professional would be highly regarded.
    • The ability to positively influence key stakeholders and build relationships.
    • A demonstrated ability to roll out and embed HR initiatives
    • Extremely high levels of time management, organisational and prioritisation skills. 
    • Experience & or T&A qualifications that include mentoring, coaching and training (one to one and classroom).
    • Experience working to tight deadlines in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
    • A self-driven, self-starter with the ability to think on your feet.
    • A dynamic, focused and down to earth personality to implement change and think outside the square.
    • Strong knowledge of HR legislation and its application.
    • HR Qualification (Bachelor Degree or Higher) is highly desirable
    • Multi-site experience is desirable.
