The Role

We are currently seeking an experienced bid manager to join our dynamic Business Solutions Team (Bids, Contracts, Pricing & Business Intelligence) on a full-time basis. 

Your experience managing bids from post-capture to submission will be highly valued as we pursue business development opportunities and contract renewal growth plans across Federal, State and Local Government and all Industries of the Corporate sector.

You will be the key contact during the entire bid development process, representing the Bids Team from the kick-off meetings to submission, acting as the gatekeeper for the flow of information ensuring deadlines are met.

By leveraging the investment in people and technology, you have the power to create and manage content and create exciting proposals. Your experience in collaborating with multiple stakeholders and best practice bid management will contribute to being recognised as a successful part of our Sales and BST team.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinate the bid development process from post-capture to tender submission
  • Coordination of all relevant stakeholders to contribute to the tenders and proposals
  • Execute the planning, writing, stakeholder review and submission of responses to bids, tenders and proposals within given time frames
  • Draw on your collaboration skills with sales teams to create compelling content
  • Work with the Pricing Analysts and Managers to position the commercial offer
  • Drive the capturing of new content and maintaining the knowledge library, including supporting staff with using our proposal software.

Your Value to our Business

The key skills and competencies essential for the advertised role include:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a bids and proposals role
  • Experience in maintaining and publishing content in a knowledge library
  • Certification in APMP or Shipley is desirable
  • Ability to work independently and contribute positively across the business
  • Ability to collaborate with all levels of stakeholders to source key information
  • Advanced Word, Intermediate Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Graphic design experience will be welcomed as we evolve the proposal presentation.
