As the Orders Team Lead, you will oversee the day to day operations of customer orders. Your proven team leadership and operational experience means you understand the importance of ensuring a high level of quality, accuracy and customer satisfaction is provided.

Our customer orders team work hard to connect our products with the front line healthcare workers across Australia. Every morning we get lots of orders from medical facilities all around the country so our orders team get in make a coffee and get busy processing orders. Simple right!? Well in fact it can get pretty hectic and as our medical products are urgently needed all over Australia and we pride ourselves on getting it right the first time. 

The role:

  • Thorough understanding of order processing and systems integration
  • Staff resourcing and overseeing individual and team KPI’s
  • Train and manage the team to deliver its purpose, roles, responsibilities and accountabilities in line with the business goals and objectives
  • Frequent prioritisation decisions based on complexity, time to resolve, and impact to the business and customer
  • Define, implement and manage monitoring systems to ensure data integrity
  • Problem-solving to resolve support issues as they arise
  • First point of escalations for our customers
  • Contributing your ideas and innovation to improve efficiencies 
  • Provide people leadership through coaching and performance development
  • Influence the team and company culture by displaying the Haines values and brand essence
  • Delivering results and celebrating the successes that come with achievement

About you:

  • A self-driven and logical thinker that enjoys working in a fast-paced and challenging environment
  • Extensive knowledge of high-volume workflow
  • Exceptional organisational and project management skills
  • Demonstrated experience delegating work and managing timelines
  • Proven experience leading a team within a medium to large sized organisation
  • Ability to lead and coach people to deliver their outcomes and KPI’s
  • Exceptional excel and computer-based shortcut skills
  • Exceptional communication and resolution skills
  • An approachable, pro-active, solutions driven team player
  • Supportive, understanding and respectful of those around you
  • Optimistic, efficient, adaptable, helpful and resourceful
  • 3+ years’ experience in a team leadership role
  • Leadership or Management Certification an advantage
  • Experience with MYOB and basic financial understanding an advantage
