Your NEW role
The Senior Finance Business Analyst supports the TAFENSW internal budget and forecasting process and contributes high level complex analysis and advice. Partnering with the business, the Senior Finance Business Analyst will develop and implement models, tools and techniques which will deliver effective budget governance, internal budget planning and forecasting.
This is a full-time on going role and can be based at Maitland, Ultimo, Bankstown, Port Macquarie, Tamworth, Wollongong, Wagga Wagga, Orange or Newcastle TAFE NSW campus. A Recruitment Pool may be created for future vacancies at the same/equivalent salary level for both ongoing and fixed term contracts.

About YOU
To succeed in this role, you will have well-developed analytical, evaluation and research skills and a working knowledge of finance systems. Superior excel, modelling and analytical skills and the ability to build sound working relationships is essential as you are challenged with competing demands and managing stakeholder expectations.
Ideally you will have a background working in a large organisation, with complex and uncertain data sets. Budget experience within the government sector would be highly desirable but not essential.
