The NSW Department of Planning, Industry and Environment (DPIE) is looking for a Project Manager to provide a range of project management and support services within the Digital Information Office.

You will be responsible for all aspects of technical project support and delivery including assisting with project plan development, preparation of reports and briefs, coordinating resources and maintaining project documentation including risk registers and issue logs.

Having excellent communication and stakeholder management skills you will also coordinate meetings, workshops, and consultations, ensuring timelines and deadlines are maintained and met.

You will be able to work under pressure, manage multiple technology-focused projects at the same time, and work as both part of a team and autonomously whilst juggling competing urgent priorities.

What you’ll have:

  • Demonstrated experience in providing project coordination and execution in a large, multi-faceted environment
  • Experience working in a shared service IT environment
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Good understanding of project management methodologies
  • A Technology focus - Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science and Information & Communication Technology and/or relevant field or equivalent experience would be an advantage
