JOB DESCRIPTION

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be tasked with month end, budgeting, forecasting, reconciliations, management of audit requests and inquiries and preparation of disclosure information. You will work within a supportive and friendly environment, and there is genuine opportunity for extension. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Preparation of the month end workbooks
  • Review of actuals to budget/forecast, accruals and set up and closure of jobs as advised
  • Completion of balance sheet and other reconciliations
  • Investigation and commentary on accruals, purchase orders or financial transactions
  • Provide auditors with information as requested.

ABOUT YOU

  • Degree qualified in accounting / finance
  • CA / CPA qualified, or in the process of completing
  • Experienced within the property industry (ideal but not essential)
  • A strong communicator with the ability to build rapport with stakeholders
  • Prior experience using SAP is desirable but not essential
  • Immediately available

Role: Property Accountant - initial temporary contract
Rate: $35-40 per hour + superannuation
