Your new role
A newly created role which can be owned and sculpted, the Inventory and Purchasing Coordinator supports business processes to ensure merchandise products are purchased and stocked, and inventory is accurately managed
Key Responsibilities
- Use of cloud-based digital platforms to set up new product lines, monitor and
- optimise inventory levels across multiple locations
- Control stock transfers
- Forecast and identify merchandise purchase needs for retail seasonality events
- Stock management across our eCommerce and retail stores
- Analysing data projection and reporting insights
- Supplier negotiations including costs, delivery times and distribution of shipments Provide support for other users on the cloud-based, integrated digital supply chain platforms
What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for a dynamic and passionate Inventory and Purchasing Coordinator who has the following skills and experience
- Experience in Inventory and purchasing coordination, ideally within the retail industry
- A passion for Data Analysing, Purchasing and Inventory data reporting
- Experience with Cloud-based digital platforms and excellent Excel skills
- Experience in stock control, ideally in the retail industry
- Strong communicator, able to build relationships with external suppliers, customers and stakeholders
- Outstanding organisation and high attention to detail skills
- Strong Procedures and process management skills
- Ideally previously worked in a regional town
