Description

The purpose of this role is to work effectively with the team to prepare and process in a timely manner a high quality, accurate payroll with a focus on customer service.

There is a complex & large payroll structure in place, so familiarity with large payroll environments will be key.

There will be a high volume of requests for information, advice and compliance questions from staff, with the incumbent often receiving upwards of 50 calls & 50 emails daily with requests for organisation.

There are very strong & organised processes and systems in place to ensure work is performed smoothly and accurately alongside a very strong training programme & culture of working as a team.

entering contract information into HR/Payroll system including new, additional or changes to contracts

Maintaining and updating employee records including employee deductions, tax, superannuation, costing, salary packaging and employee personnel information

Award and agreement interpretation

Profile

The new incumbent will have:

- Experience working within a high volume, fast paced payroll environment

- Experience processing end to end payroll for large volumes of staff (ideally 1000+) essential

- Experience using a large payroll system such as SAP, Chris21, Peoplesoft etc.

- A high attention to detail & proven accuracy in their work

- A great, collaborative attitude and willingness to learn
