If you have a curious mind and like working with electronics and instruments, then this role as an Electronic Systems Technician in the Army could be for you.

Your role:
You’ll be responsible for some of the world’s most technologically advanced equipment, where you’ll handle and maintain a range of high-tech Army assets. From weapons systems and vehicles, to medical equipment and electronic surveillance devices, your key tasks will be to keep these vital technologies operating.

You’ll be a valued member of a team, working not only in a workshop, but also out in the field on exercises and deployments - you won’t experience a lack of variety in this exciting role.

On top of this, you’ll receive fully paid training to give you the skills to grow and succeed, including specialist courses to grow your knowledge of advanced weapons systems, military vehicles and equipment, such as the Abrams tank.

Salary:
In the Army you'll get paid a good salary from day one regardless of your age, experience or qualifications. Upon commencing training, your starting salary will be approximately $50,145 per annum plus 16.4% superannuation and your pay will increase as you progress through training.

On completion of your initial military training and initial employment training, you could earn $70,417 per annum plus generous super.

For this role, you must be an Australia citizen, over 17 at the time of enlistment, and have completed an Australian Year 10 education (or equivalent) with passes in English, Mathematics, Science (with a Physics component desirable) and one other subject.
