We are seeking an experienced HSE Advisor to join our HSEQ Team to work on a 20/8 FIFO roster From Perth.

Your Responsibilities
The Health, Safety Environmental (HSE) Advisor, Projects will report directly to the Head of HSEQ and the Site HSE Manager, and will be responsible for providing continuous HSE education on an iconic project.

Duties of this role include but are not limited to;

Ensuring the safety management system, training program, and HSE standards are compliant with company policies and Australian Standards
Promote and facilitate the company Health, Safety and Environmental Management Plan internally within our business and with our vendors and sub-contractors
Ensure all work performed is in accordance with the relevant state legislation, statutory and client requirements
Participate in HSE audits, accident/incident investigations, personnel inductions and drug & alcohol testing programs
Coordinate safety toolbox meetings on site with the company and subcontractor personnel
To monitor the nominated work site on a daily basis and liaise with Subcontractor supervisors to ensure that hazards are identified and control measures instigated
Deliver HSE training programs
Your Profile
Successful candidates must demonstrate the following competencies to be shortlisted;

Diploma Occupation Health & Safety (Essential)
Cert IV Trainer and Assessor (Desirable)
High Risk Work Licence (Desirable)
5 years experience in a similar position
Previous experience of working in remote areas
Previous exposure to large mining safety standards
Successful applicants will all have an excellent safety attitude and record, and a proven reliable employee with good attitude and the ability to work in a team environment.
