Working across two Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) and our Employment Services division, Training Alliance Group (TAG), is a leader in providing quality education that leads to meaningful employment, supporting individuals to achieve their employment and education goals through experiential and classroom based learning.
TAG has been providing services in both metro and regional locations across 16 offices with the aim of improving work readiness and facilitating job placements.
About the role:
Due to increasing demand, TAG is seeking a casual trainer with vocational competency, experience and currency to deliver training and assessment in the following nationally recognised qualification:
- Traffic Management;
- Training/assessment includes both theory and practical activities and will be delivered in Perth and regional locations. Flexibility to travel to regional locations will be required;
- Main Roads service agreement with MTACS.
Skills & experience:
- Trainer must possess the Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40110 or TAE40116) including the units TAELLN401A/TAELLN411 and TAEASS502 or TAEASS502A or;
- TAEASS502B or a diploma or higher level qualification in adult education;
- Trainer must hold a Current Main Road’s WA traffic management accreditation in the level of accreditation being delivered - we deliver Basic Worksite Traffic Management (BWTM) and Traffic Control (TC);
- Trainer must have held BWTM and TC accreditation for 3 full years;
- Trainer must have completed Basic Worksite Traffic Management & Traffic Control RIIWHS201D, RIICOM201D, RIIWHS205D and RIIWHS302D (or newer equivalents);
- Must have at least 3 years first-hand experience in working on roads at construction sites or in the management of traffic on roads at a worksite or at an event;
- Must hold White Card;
- Relevant and current vocational industry experience is required;
- Experience is required in delivering relevant and engaging training in a classroom and workplace settings to a diverse range of students;
- Ability to successfully provide a National Police clearance and Working with Children check.
