Our client is looking for an outstanding Customer Service/Office Assistant to join their operations on a 3 Month Fixed Term to Permanent Basis, working approx.. 28 - 30 hours per week. They are looking for an outstanding all-round personality who can undertake multiple tasks within the organisation with a focus on phone based, inbound Customer service. This position will be based at there Kilsyth manufacturing site.

Our client is a family owned business, who operate in the repair and recycling industry and are looking for someone who shares the same values that they do to join their team! They have a large cliental bases that range from individual customers to large business's including local councils, big corporates, and SME's. Majority of their operations are in the automotive industry, but they are not limited to just this industry. This is an excellent opportunity for an outstanding Customer Service/Office Assistant to work in a very well-rounded role in a friendly SME environment.


Reporting to the Company Owner, your main role and responsibilities will include:

  • Promptly and professionally answering all inbound customer service calls, daily.
  • Responding to E-Mail, Web-chat and Facebook customer assistance enquiries in a timely manner.
  • Helping walk-in customers with enquires about company products, services and prices.
  • Assisting the Accounts department with quotes and invoicing of customers for their services.
  • Assisting the Marketing team with replying to stock quotes via Facebook, eBay and Gumtree.
  • Ad-Hoc Duties as required to ensure day-to-day operations are completed successfully.


Our client is looking for a All-Round Specialist with a strong background in Customer Service. They are ideally looking for a candidate who is likes variety in their position and can assist in all departments when asked. They are looking for someone who can consistently live by their family-owned business values and contributes positively to culture. You will always need to demonstrate an excellent phone manner as well as a positive attitude within the working environment. Prior experience in a phone-based Customer Service and a proven track record of flexibility and open-mindedness in the workplace will be highly regarded; as well as someone with great initiative and problem-solving skills.
