Job Description
Aspen Medical Manufacturing, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Aspen Medical, is seeking two night-shift machine operators to join our factory in Brendale. As a Machine Operator you will operate machinery to produce Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) which will be supplied to our clients.
The Responsibilities Of This Role Include
- setting up machinery (such as calibrating and cleaning the machinery) to commence the production schedule
- controlling and adjusting machine settings
- feeding raw materials through the machinery
- maintaining waste management
- completing necessary paperwork such as quality control checks and other productivity measures
- attending to non-complex issues that may occur during the shift and reporting major issues immediately
- maintaining effective communication and positive professional relationships within the team environment.
- previous experience in the production of Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) is desired but not essential
- excellent organisational and time management skills
- ability to use machinery, hand tools, and power tools competently and safely
- sound knowledge of the lean manufacturing principles, Industry Best Practice and Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations
- excellent attention to detail
- commitment to work towards a high standard of output.
