An opportunity has arisen for a recruitment consultant to join our public sector team in Sydney. This position presents outstanding earning potential working in a stable market, career growth opportunities and the chance to work in a high performing team with the support of an experienced team leader, who has been with Randstad for over five years and is an expert in all aspects of recruitment.
About your role
Working on a warm desk, you’ll focus on placing temporary, fixed-term & permanent staff across the local government and not-for-profit sectors. You would be recruiting a variety of role profiles (from entry level to mid level) such as: Team Administration Support, Project Officer, Grants Assessor, Customer Service Manager, Executive Assistants, Governance Officer & Records Officers.
Responsibilities include
- 360 end to end recruitment
- Account management with existing clients & business development with new clients (over the phone, via email and face-to-face)
- Managing a pool of temporary contractors working for you across Sydney
- Screening, shortlisting and interviewing candidates
- Mapping out opportunities in your market
- Nurture and grow both candidate and client relationships
- Growing your talent pool, client market share, and the desks gross profit
What you will need to succeed
We are looking for a driven, outgoing recruitment consultant who is passionate about delivering the best service. Partnering with both candidates and clients in a consultative style. You’ll have a can-do, positive attitude and the confidence to liaise with senior client stakeholders.
- Previous recruitment experience - ideally as a Consultant, however we are open to Candidate Managers or Resourcers looking to progress their career
- You enjoy sales, are not afraid to pick up the phone
- Emphasis on quality recruitment delivery
- Proactive and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
- You like working closely with your team as well as independently
- Experience hitting KPI’s
- Resilience
