Position Summary:

Reporting to the Project Director, Homes Victoria Technology, this role will be responsible for governance and reporting role for all Homes Victoria related ICT Projects and Programs. The Manager, Governance position will also ensure that appropriate governance arrangements are developed and being followed and will lead the provision of Secretariat services to relevant Committees.

The Manager, Governance will need to develop and maintain strong relationships with all program stakeholders and contribute to the program's delivery of successful outcomes.

The role will require a dynamic, flexible and experienced candidate with experience in implementing and improving governance arrangements, as well as being able to provide authoritative advice and build strong stakeholder relationships to deliver key program outcomes.

Are you:

  • An experienced governance or public sector professional with a strong understanding of public sector governance for effective decision making
  • A strategic thinker who can see beyond the immediate tasks and identify emerging risks, develop innovative solutions
    with a view to the bigger picture outcome.
  • Experienced in supporting the delivery of highly complex, multi-faceted policy and projects with multiple consultancies and stakeholders.
  • A dynamic team-player with exceptional written and verbal communication skills, committed to delivering outcomes under tight timeframes
  • An effective communicator with strong capabilities in relationship building and collaborative working to solve problems
  • Passionate and driven about the Government's agenda of substantially increasing social and affordable housing in Victoria?
