Position Summary:

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to deliver long-term technology reform to enhance client outcomes in the social and affordable housing system in Victoria.This position will provide a high performing individual with the opportunity to apply their skills and knowledge to identify, lead and deliver practical responses to complex, system-wide issues to improve responses for disadvantaged Victorians. You will manage a small, dynamic fast-paced team to run a small Project Management function, provide an advisory service to business units, assist current SME's to deliver quality project artefacts, and manage the relationship with key stakeholders.

You will also have demonstrable experience in delivering Enterprise-wide ICT through application planning, vendor management, project and program management and release planning You will thrive in an agile and fast paced environment, where you will lead the team to achieve outcomes through relationships and networks rather than through hierarchy and structure.

Are you:

Along with strong leadership experience and skills, as our ideal candidate you will have:

  • Experienced in supporting the delivery of highly complex ICT projects, with multiple internal and external stakeholders
  • Self-motivated and hardworking, with expert knowledge of, and demonstrated experience within a large ICT environment, of enterprise change, incident and problem management practice, leading to successful ICT improvement or transformation creating realised business value.
  • Experienced in leading/utilising/participating in a range of iterative, incremental and agile software development methodologies.
  • Able to manage and oversee the lifecycle of projects with a focus of identifying risks and establishing risk mitigation processes.
  • A dynamic team-player with exceptional written and verbal communication skills, committed to delivering outcomes under tight timeframes
  • Passionate and driven about the Government's agenda of substantially increasing social and affordable housing in Victoria?
