JOB DESCRIPTION

• Location: Melbourne, CBD This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced policy/project officer to help shape key policy reform initiatives in relation to Victoria’s Planning System.

Working in a dynamic environment, you will contribute to several projects designed to improve the governance outcomes for the planning portfolio boards and advisory bodies. You will be responsible for policy development and analysis, preparation of briefings and correspondence for Ministers and executives, and working across a wide range of government and other stakeholders.

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications

  • Proven skills and experience in business planning, governance and/or performance analysis
  • Sound conceptual and analytical skills, including the ability to undertake research, identify strategic issues and to develop appropriate solutions.
  • Experience in the development of policy particularly in relation to governance related matters is desirable.
  • Tertiary qualification in planning, social or public policy is desirable

This is a fixed term position available until 31 December 2022.
