Position Summary:

The Executive Assistant, Housing Development Branch is responsible for the coordination of executive support for both the Chief Development Officer and the provision of administrative support across the branch.

You will be trustworthy, cooperative and flexible, recognising the sensitivities of your role within the team and the wider organisation. You will provide high-quality, executive and project support to the Chief Development Officer, managing complex email and calendar requirements and coordinating workflow. You will be confident and pro-active with taking ownership of your responsibilities and demonstrated experience in working beyond expectations. You will undertake a range of discrete, and often confidential, project tasks. You will also be required to undertake the quality assurance of ministerial correspondence and briefs, ensuring all documents prepared for the Minister and Secretary conform to the required style, are reviewed and corrected for errors and completed within the mandated timelines. You will act as a pivotal point of contact with internal and external stakeholders and will have proven experience dealing with senior executives. You will work with staff within the Branch as well as with Executive Assistants across the Homes Victoria to ensure that actions are followed up and completed against mandated timelines.

  • Experienced in working in a C-suite or similar offices?
  • Passionate and driven about property development and constructions sector?
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of management systems and processes?
  • Experienced in providing project support to a Senior Executive?
  • Detail focused, with highly developed written and verbal communication skills?
