• Location: Negotiable An opportunity to support the delivery of ministerial, whole of government and departmental priorities and commitments in the Grampians region.

As the Senior Advisor, you will provide high level strategic advice, coordination, and project support for the Regional Director, Grampians region.

You will be integral in guiding and supporting the delivery of government's policies to meet our regional priorities. You will work collaboratively, establishing mutually beneficial stakeholder relationships and find opportunities to increase DELWP's effectiveness in the region. 

As our ideal candidate, you will have:

  • The ability to plan strategically, including be able to integrate existing program offerings to create higher value.
  • Experience working with government policy and systems, including the ability to create and maintain effective networks across government.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to effectively influence and negotiate with stakeholders on complex issues to secure long-term gains and outcomes.
  • High levels of energy and enthusiasm.

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications

  • A relevant tertiary qualification.
  • Experience in working in high paced, multi priority environments.

This is a fixed term position available for a period until 30 June 2022.
