JOB DESCRIPTION

• An opportunity to work on significant reforms to Victoria’s infrastructure contributions

• Location: Melbourne, CBD Utilise your expertise to provide a significant contribution to the Victorian planning industry.

The successful applicant will support the delivery of a reform program to Victoria's infrastructure contributions tools to ensure they deliver the right infrastructure at the right time for our growing communities. This will involve working in a team to undertake policy research and analysis, develop policy advice and support engagement with internal and external stakeholders.

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications

  • A tertiary qualification in urban planning, public policy or a related discipline is mandatory.
  • Experience in the design and maintenance of strategic and statutory planning systems is desirable.
  • An understanding of government policies and strategies, with an emphasis on urban planning and development, combined with a sound knowledge of government processes involved is desirable.

This is a fixed term position until 31 December 2021.
