Varsity is currently hiring a full-time Assistant Venue Manager 3IC to join our Nedlands team.

The Skills You'll Need

  • A passion for hospitality and working with likeminded individuals
  • A solid understanding of FOH operations;
  • Juggling skills - office admin and hands on workload;
  • Confident leadership and coaching capabilities;
  • Excited about learning new technology-based systems;
  • Draft system & cellar maintenance connoisseur is a plus;
  • Hold an Unrestricted Approved Managers Card;
  • Ability to deliver an award winning training system.
  • Nunchuck skills are highly regarded but not essential.

The Experience You'll Have
  • Have a minimum of 2 years experience in a senior duty manager or venue manager role
  • The ability to foster and maintain a positive team culture;
  • A killer track record in hiring, training, leading and motivating a front of house crew;
  • A clear understanding of the costs involved with the management of a successful business;
  • Confident in writing amazing rosters and managing wage %;
  • Know you way around a beverage cost of goods %;
  • Managing general maintenance of the bar and the front of house areas.
