What will I do?
In this busy, relationship-focused role, you will assist the Client Services Management Team to coordinate services to a range of clients throughout Queensland. These clients all have individual needs ranging from domestic supports to personal care needs and you will be responsible for ensuring all clients are getting great service, when they need it, how they need it, so that they can live the life that they want to. You will also work closely with the SIL manager, to provide assistance where required. The role is specifically to assist our busy Client Services and SIL Team with recruitment and onboarding of amazing Support Workers, and assigning our existing and new SWs to clients within our rostering system. This process requires professional communication skills, quick to respond directions for management, efficient onboarding of staff, and managing rosters for our staff and clients, including making roster amendments where necessary, per client or staff request.
Essential:
- IT experience and/or a sound ability to operate software and follow data processes to apply.
- Minimum 2 Years in the Disability Sector
- Sound communication skills
- Blue card and Yellow card (or NDIS Workers screening check)
- First Aid and CPR
- Drivers License
- Police Check
- NDIS Workers module
- Covid-19 Infection control training
Desired:
- Certificate III in individual support/Diploma in disability
- Ability to work in a busy environment
- Time management skills
- Ability to work with diverse people
This means that you'll:
Assist to manage individual client service plans to ensure changing client service needs are being met with the aim of continually improving service delivery for our clients.
Partner, collaborate and negotiate with clients and other stakeholders to deliver appropriate and sustainable services, and check in with staff to ensure that rostered hours are appropriate and necessary.
Prioritise workload and tasks to ensure clients are receiving the highest quality of supports possible, and all requests are actioned within a short timeframe to maintain client satisfaction.
Manage teams of Support Workers across our region working out in the community and in our clients' homes, helping to engage them with our organisation, plan for their development and training, and support them to be the best Support Workers in the sector!
Basically, we're looking for someone who can:
Assist to coordinate, monitor and develop services to people within a community setting
Assist with general office and administration duties, including compliance with policies and procedures
Assist to manage a whole lot of competing priorities effectively and still deliver exceptional client outcomes
Communicate effectively with a wide variety of people, including support staff, clients from varied backgrounds, clinical staff, community networks and our clients families
Build great relationships and be an ambassador for our organisation and our clients!
