- Full-time permanent and secure job opportunity.
- $35 - $40 per hour + super
About the company
Independent and successful Structural Steel Fabrication & Metal Works company with an established history in QLD for over 13+ years.
With projects in and around Brisbane and SEQ the company requires a Site Manager to manage Steel and Metal Work project sites.
They provide steel products to Tier 2 clients in the Building and Construction industries including Structural Steel and Metal Works. Projects range from government facilities, hospitals, schools through to commercial buildings and the like.
About the role
Ensure that installation of Structural Steel and Metal Works are installed & erected to achieve project deliverables, engineering requirements, safely standards and KPI's.
It is expected this will be done by proactively working together with other site crews to ensure a successful outcome for each project.
Skills and experience required
- Previous experience as a Leading Hand on site.
- Strong experience of Building Construction and Structural Steel erection and metal works.
- Strong ability to lead site-based staff.
- Hands-on approach to assisting site staff and ensuring projects schedules are achieved.
- Strong communication abilities.
- Background in boilermaking, rigging, dogma etc.
