Due to an influx of work following recent weather events in South East QLD, a number of exciting opportunities are available for hardworking and driven individuals to join this fast paced and innovative organisation.

The Role:

The focus of this diverse role will be to engage, coordinate and manage trades during the restoration process for buildings damaged by insurable events. You will travel around Brisbane, provide regular updates to customers and ensure a high level of service is provided at all times.

This is a fantastic chance to join an established company that values its people above all else. Initial 12 month contract with opportunities for extension and future career progression.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Take ownership of jobs from commencement to completion
  • Engage, coordinate & manage trades during the restoration process for buildings damaged by insurable events
  • Communicate & negotiate with trades to track the progress of jobs
  • Provide regular updates to customers
  • Liaise between insured parties & insurance companies
  • Coordinate access to properties with insured parties
  • Dispute / issue resolution as required
  • Ensure all inspections, certificates of final inspection from Building Surveyor & relevant documentation is signed off
  • Ensure all work conforms to legislative & contractual OHS requirements
  • Travel around Brisbane
Key Selection Criteria:

Do you have proven examples of demonstrating drive and energy? Are you extremely motivated and can think outside the box? Do you want the opportunity to potentially work your way into a partnership? Being able to demonstrate and highlight examples of these are the key criteria for you to be successful in joining our existing talented and passionate team. The following selection criteria is also important, but we are happy to teach and mentor you along the way.
  • Experience supervising construction projects
  • Carpentry or relevant building trade background
  • QBCC Supervisor Licence or Cert IV in Building & Construction
  • Prior experience in insurance building advantageous, however not essential
  • Excellent communication, customer service & relationship building skills
  • Ability to manage multiple & competing priorities
  • Ability to be empathetic to the needs of the client
  • Good work ethic
  • Computer literacy
  • Understanding of OHS practices, legislation, regulations & current market rates / trades
  • Current motor vehicle licence
