Your new company
  • Internationally renowned, and with a strong reputation for “getting it right the first time” due to their superior company policy and procedures, this market leader has just promoted two staff within the import team and now are seeking a competent and like-minded replacement for one of their valued members.
Your new role
  • Working within this established operations team, your new role has key core duties as the successful candidate will bring additional skills in the first instance and then the role may also adapt as the candidate settled into the new vacancy.
  • Your day will consist of the registration of air freight jobs, lodging documentation, extensive liaising with airlines and local providers regarding arriving cargo and ensuring relevant certification is recorded updated and edited as necessary using Cargowise.
  • You will utilise your superior ability to multitask to ensure delays are minimised and the cartage team have all relevant information to allow the immediate delivery of Cargo/freight as soon as it has been cleared
What you'll need to succeed
  • A great can-do attitude, superior communication and liaising skills coupled with relevant import air freight experience ideally within the international freight forwarding industry
  • Exposure to industry software and proven excel skills would also assist your application.
