Permanent opportunity, based at our Mascot Campus
Support negotiations and develop commercial relationships for key Property contracts
Influence the strategy for our utilities business and deliver cost reduction initiatives in a challenging environment

As the Commercial Analyst, you will be responsible for analytical insights of operational services contracts, including national utilities (energy, waste and water), facilities management, and ground support equipment. You will also manage the day-to-day running of the Qantas Group National Utilities portfolio, including reviewing of cost trends, delivery of transformation projects as required and managing the bill payment process and tenant invoicing
You’ll have:
Experience in the electricity, gas & renewable industry with a good understanding of utilities contract structures
Ability to present Utilities data and strategy at senior management level, whilst considering the variety of knowledge levels within the audience
Experience in handling and analysing large volumes of data
Excellent spreadsheet skills, with ability to prepare cash flow models
Ability to develop cost analysis models
Stakeholder management skills
Ability to drive change programs through historical/legacy business practises to achieve a more efficient outcome
Ability to manage contracted staff, partnerships and relationships
Ability to communicate effectively in a variety of written and verbal formats with a wide range of people -external individuals, organisations and agencies
Excellent report-writing, analytical, multi-tasking skills
Excellent communication skills, strong listening and questioning skills
Must be able to quickly understand the issue, analyse the problems and translate into a solution and implement as required
Ability to lead a project using own initiative and working as part of a team
Ability to create and maintain accurate / accessible and organized documentation
Experience using the Envizi platform is preferred
