About the role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a driven, critical thinking Business Analyst to join the John Deere team in the role of Ambition Coordinator.
Reporting to the Managing Director – AU/NZ, the Ambition Coordinator will engage with the Executive Leadership team on key organisational objectives and challenges and help define, execute and measure the success of key strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and communicate insights, trends, frameworks, recommendations and guidance to help influence business strategy through analysis
  • Working with senior leaders to identify and analyse opportunities that optimise business performance
  • Analyse business strategy to validate and qualify opportunities worth pursuing
  • Influence key stakeholders to deliver impactful change
  • Inject strategic and innovative thinking into the issues that the business faces
  • Coordinate and manage working groups and teams, including at times, external stakeholders

About you:

With a strong connection and affiliation with the Agricultural industry, you are an energetic self-starter that takes pride in their work and their working environment. You are passionate about the opportunity to have a real impact on the business and committed to a culture of high performance. In addition, you have:

  • Three to five years’ experience in corporate strategy, finance or a business analytics role
  • Undergraduate qualifications in agricultural economics, commerce, business, finance or technical discipline
  • Experience in leveraging data sets and tools (Tableau and Power BI)
  • Outstanding analytical capability, strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Strong commercial and / or business acumen and financial analysis capabilities
  • Strong capability in compiling polished and persuasive presentations
  • Strong attention to detail
