Job Description

Reporting to the Supervisor Fleet Management Systems, you will provide FMS Support to Mine Control and Site based FMS End Users to minimise production downtime and enable the system for execution and optimisation

Your Duties Will Include

  • Provide FMS production data and system health data analytical support
  • Identify, scope and implement FMS data and system improvement projects to reduce risk, reduce cost and increase productivity
  • Monitor and validate FMS data integrity and identify the root-cause of failed or erroneous data
  • Provide in-depth Subject Matter Expertise to support the IROC Mine Controllers on issues relating to FMS configuration and settings, system health and production data
  • Set and Manage the Standard for FMS Configuration and Settings.
  • Cultivate positive relationships through effective communication and consultation.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders for resolution of issues.

Skills And Other Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have substantial experience and technical proficiency in Fleet Management Systems. Experience in Minestar Fleet and Terrain and/or Modular Dispatch and Provision will be highly regarded. You are likely to have a tertiary qualification in IT, Engineering or a related discipline or possess the equivalent relevant work experience. Previous experience in operational support of mission-critical services in large-scale environments, preferably mining/resources will be advantageous.

As the preferred candidate, you can discuss technical information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others, and gains understanding. You have solid interpersonal, communication and presentation skills and can influence stakeholders across all levels. You will be highly organised and possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills (including root-cause analysis) with the ability to prioritise effectively in a high-pressure environment.
