JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Even Time Roster, DIDO + Camp and Meals
  • Leading Underground Mining Contractor
  • Competitive Market Rates + Super on all hours

Working within a team environment you will be responsible for all facets of maintenance and repairs to a fleet of underground mobile plant, consisting of; Caterpillar, Sandvik, Atlas Copco, Normet and Volvo machinery. Your primary role is to manage the Sandvik jumbo's and solo's to ensure production targets are met by minimising machinery down time where possible.

Duties:
  • Drill rig maintenance and repairs - Sandvik Jumbos and Solos
  • Planned and unplanned maintenance
  • Attending breakdowns as required
  • Adhere to all site safety protocols and procedures
  • Execute your role and build strong working relationships
Skills & Experience:
  • Mechanical trade background working on mobile related mining equipment
  • Proven track record maintaining underground drill rigs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Prior experience in a breakdown or trouble shooting environment
  • 3+ years relevant mine site experience is preferred
