An Opportunity exists for a Document Controller to join the team and take responsibility of document management across all projects. This is the perfect role for someone who enjoys fast paced role, working to deadlines and liaising with all departments of the organization and external stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for maintaining the document control processes within the project.
- Coordination of allocating unique identifiers to maintainable equipment feeding into design documents, 3D models and other customer deliverable.
- Maintain client specification revisions that are referenced in the contract and issue revisions to the suppliers as required.
- Manage and expedite supplier deliverables and documentation and ensure contractual requirements are adhered to.
- Track the movement of all project documents and deliverables to the client within agreed timelines including liaising with internal and external customers and suppliers where required
- Ensure control and coordination of projects documentation and data.
- Maintain quality control over all design deliverables and technical documents.
- Carry out regular QA checks on all documentation in accordance with company policy ensuring compliance.
- Liaise with suppliers and engineering to ensure tagging sheets include all relevant technical information and parameters.
- Experience with electronic document control systems (Teambinder or QDMS)
- Able to handle multiple deadlines and priorities
- Competency with Microsoft office suites & ERP system (Epicor) highly regarded
- Self-motivated and have the ability to perform well under pressure
- Suitable qualification and education in a technical discipline
- 5+ year experience in document control for large industrial projects
