Talent International are currently recruiting for a Senior .NET Developer to work for one of our Government clients based in Brisbane CBD. This position is a contract role until end June 2021.

Overview

As the Senior .NET Developer, you will be required to provide services throughout all phases of the application development lifecycle, including migration, support & maintenance and enhancements to numerous initiatives within the applications team:

• The members of this team are expected to perform to the highest quality standard and operate with a high level of integrity within this large professional support team with a focus on delivering client requirements and service excellence.
• A range of technologies are supported by the group, however, there is a focus on Microsoft technologies to assist in reducing the overall complexity of the environment
• You will be required to provide resources with demonstrated experience in delivering Business Information Systems and Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) over the Software Development Life Cycle, including architecture, design, development and delivery.
• You will also be required to provide resources with appropriate levels of mainly .NET skills and knowledge for application maintenance and development services.

Required Skills:

• Minimum 5 years demonstrated experience in Microsoft ASP.NET software development undertaking: SFIA, Level 5 - PROG
• Backend Software development: ASP.NET, C#, MVC
• Frontend: JavaScript, JQuery
• Microsoft SQL Server 2012-2017, SQL Azure
• Programming in SQL
• Knowledge of Windows Server and IIS
• Team Foundation Server, Azure DevOps, TFS to DevOps migration
• In depth knowledge of Azure PaaS
• Reporting Services 2016
• PowerShell experience writing automation scripts
• Writing unit and integration test scripts
• Microsoft Visual Studio & GIT
• .NET Core, Angular (desirable skills)
