Global Process Lead (Vendor Onboarding)

JOB DESCRIPTION

This global mining company is looking for a Global Process Lead to join the business and improve the way vendors are engaged across the globe. You will be working with business representatives, procurement professionals, and consulting partners you will participate in designing the new business process and its subsequent implementation into the business.

The role will be an initial 12-month contract where there will be more of a focus on the continuous improvement of the vendor approval process which is a key component of vendor onboarding.

Responsibilities

  • Vendor Relationship Management and Process Owner for the Vendor Approval process
  • Monthly compliance reporting of approvers within Procurement and communicating to PMOs
  • Monthly reporting of new vendors created by company code and category
  • Quarterly review of process with PMO leads
  • Quarterly internal review with Procurement governance, P2P and Vendor relationships
  • Half Yearly regulatory reporting for payment performance reporting
  • Leading small project teams and General Process queries
Your Experience & Skills
  • At least 10 years relevant experience in procurement, especially vendor onboarding
  • Interprets internal or external business issues and recommends solutions/best practices.
  • Solves complex problems by suggesting innovative solutions by taking a broad perspective
  • Guides others in resolving complex issues in specialized area based on existing solutions and procedures
  • Collaborates and work with business leaders and Strategy peers in managing business strategy implementation projects
  • Experience in large global transformation projects
  • Experience with training and mentoring of staff
