AI Australia is looking for a Project Manager - Intern to be part of our professional services to be part of the most advanced AI-based projects in Australia.
As a Project manager - Intern, you will be responsible for the direction, coordination, implementation, executive, control and completion of project, while remaining aligned with strategy, commitments and goals of the organization, with teams that are working across our different offices across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane (and Darwin).
You will be part of our Project Management Office (PMO) and paired up with senior program managers and project sponsors.
Your day-to-day activities may include, but not limited to:
- Plan and implement projects
- Help define project scope, goals and deliverables
- Define tasks and required resources
- Collect and manage project team
- Manage budget
- Allocate project resources
- Create schedule and project timeline
- Track deliverables
- Support and lead team
- Lead quality assurance
- Monitor and report on project progress
- Present to stakeholders reports on progress as well as problems and solutions
- Implement and manage change when necessary to meet project outputs
- Evaluate and assess result of project
RequirementsEducation & Experience
- Project management qualification (PMP) or equivalent
- Theoretical and practical project management knowledge
- Knowledge of techniques and tools
- Knowledge of strategic planning, risk management and/or change management
Other Competencies
- Strong English and Communication Skills (written and verbal)
- Critical thinking and problem solving
- Excellent decision-making and leadership capabilities
- Contract negotiation
- Conflict resolution experience
- Adaptability
- Able to tolerate stress
